「小江戸川越ごみぶくろ」は、地元の印刷会社を中心に行なっている川越美化プロジェクトから生まれたものです。
ワンプと呼ばれる印刷用の紙を包むための包装紙は、通常産業廃棄物として破棄されますが、片面にはPP加工が施され、多少の水漏れは防ぐことができます。
このワンプを断裁し、川越市内のNPO法人サポートあおいが運営する障がい福祉
サービスにて働いている利用者の方々に１枚２０円で袋状に加工をしていただき、持ち歩けるごみぶくろとして皆様にご活用いただけたらと考えております。
昨今、関東でも観光地として名を馳せる川越において、ごみのポイ捨て問題に対してもお役に立つことができれば幸いです。
ぜひ、ごみぶくろを活用いただき、清らかな心持ちで川越散策をお楽しみください。
なお、できあがったごみぶくろはご希望の店舗・施設へ販売し、売上は全てサポートあおいの皆様の作業費としてお支払いいたします。
The Koedo Kawagoe garbage bag originated from the Kawagoe Beautification Project, an initiative spearheaded by a local printing company.
The packaging papers used to wrap reams of printing paper are usually discarded as industrial waste. However, one side is coated with polypropylene, making it somewhat water resistant.
The packaging paper is cut and repurposed into bags at a disability welfare service operated by the NPO Support Aoi in Kawagoe. Users of the facility assemble the bags and are compensated 20 yen per bag. We hope everybody will make use of these portable garbage bags.
We hope that these garbage bags will help to combat the problem of littering that has been occurring recently at Kawagoe, a popular tourist destination in the Kanto region.
Please be considerate and make use of these garbage bags as you take a stroll around Kawagoe.
Furthermore, the manufactured garbage bags will be sold to interested stores and facilities, and all proceeds will be paid to the workers at Support Aoi.
